Products and Solutions that have a lower CO² footprint when compared to a defined industry or market reference. For ready- mix concrete the references have been defined in the respective Vertua guidelines.
ENERGY EFFICIENCY
Improved Thermal Efficiency
Products and Solutions that have reduced thermal conductivity (i.e. improved thermal insulation). Thanks to their adoption the buildings and structures that use the product or solution have an improved energy efficiency, which in-turn impacts CO² emissions.
WATER CONSERVATION
Smart Use and Management of Water
Products and Solutions that conserve water with positive impact on the environment:
a) reducing water consumption during construction or
b) enabling water to filter back to the soil.
